analogue: no eyes, no face

this is my creative solution of an assignment of portrait-photography that I had in school this spring. my main idea was to have a filter between me (the camera) and the model to sort of make a non-traditional type of portrait-photography. me and my model ellen experimented with all kinds of mediums: from plastic bags, stockings, curtains, to windows and walls. one can make it’s own interpretations regarding the theme for this photoshoot.

theme loss.

For the ”loss-project” in school I decided to make a photoseries displayed in a manual slideshow made out of wood. The main idea was to investigate the process of cutting old clothes off the model, see how the silhouette changed as the model gradually was undressing. We worked a lot with bodily expressions and the result turned out to be very much ”fashion editorial”, in my opinion. The leftovers of the clothes were placed in front of the wall.
